Taiwan’s most loved sweetheart, Rainie Yang’s album is a blockbuster smash at the music charts! Her fifth studio album was launched at the beginning of this month and have secured the coveted #1 position on the Mandopop charts this week, tallying at a strong 18.39% of total sales.

Rainie & Love is the singer/actress’s fifth foray into the music scene, and is composed of mostly effusively sweet pop tracks about love. Rainie Yang originally debuted as part of girl group 4Love, earning her stage moniker due to their group’s weather themed names. After a series of minor supporting roles in taiwanese idol dramas (including a notable run as Xiao You in Meteor Garden), she shot to stardom after starring as female lead in Devil Beside You with Mike He.
