This is truly a hidden gem found tucked away in some random Japanese channel on Youtube! An eight part miniseries, much similar to the popular Banjun dramas in South Korea… the story features love stories that are actually intertwined, both in plot and characters.

KoiPara — a complete love story on the web, which characters/settings/items link and in parallel with the other stories, developed by producers and makers of an online drama for the test broadcasting. On YouTube, you will encounter with heartwarming stories, as well as PVs for opening and the featured songs, along with private & offshots from the characters. Most of the actors featured are not mainstream, but more of lesser known or underrated Japanese actors, but nonetheless the stories are poignant and easy to relate.

One of the episode even feature Joe Cheng, a popular Taiwanese idol drama star who is well known for his roles in series such as It Started with A Kiss. Here he stars as a foreigner who falls in love with a Japanese woman.
