Premiering soon in The Filipino Channel is one of the newest Filipino teleseryes, topbilled by actress Anne Curtis who recently won top honors for her role in Baler. A beautiful actress of mixed descent, Anne’s acting chops were first recognized when she believingly portrayed the role of Celine in Maging Sino Ka Man (Whoever You Are) where her character was a self destructive socialite who falls in love with JB, her cousin’s boyfriend (played by Sam Milby). Considered one of ABSCBN’s primetime princesses, this light romance will be her TV comeback after a successful run in Dyosa.
In The Wedding, Anne plays the role of rich girl Candice De Menes, who dreams of having the perfect wedding with her dream guy Warren (Derek Ramsay). However, he had to leave for the States. Candice never gave up on this dream, but when she found her parents’ (Michael de Mesa and Eula Valdez) marriage falling apart, she schemed a plan to make her folks stay together: be engaged with someone her parents will never approve of — Marlon (Zanjoe Marudo), a poor engineer in Candice’s family’s construction firm.
Candice’s initial scheme develops into a full-fledged whirlwind romance leading to preparations for a real wedding to prove the true love they have found. But what if her first and great love, the Mr. Right she has been dreaming about returns to claim her back?
