Leave it to the girls of 2NE1 to do such a fierce photoshoot! The fearsome quartet went gangster for a fashion spread in the November issue of W Korea, according to the magazine on Wednesday.

Each member donned different gangster styles — channeling the Russian Mafia to Italian Mafia to Japanese motorcycle gangs — for the shoot aimed at expressing the roaring ages of crooks and criminals, as detailed in the accompanying article in W.

Where other girl groups go for the sexy sophisticated or the sultry city girl look in most magazine photoshoots, 2NE1 from the hiphop label YG Entertainment are not afraid to be bold and eclectic. Even with an already daring concept such as gangsters, each lady puts their own spin into this high fashion spread.
